美国高中：SSAT标准申请

　　申请美国高中SSAT标准了解，近几年美国越来越多的私立学校开始接受SSAT标准申请。标准申请就是申请程序标准化，一个申请表，一个推荐信数量和格式，同一申请费。下面一诺留学网小编简要为大家介绍一下。

　　所有操作都在SSAT网站上完成，最后申请由SSAT送往各个学校。也就是做一份申请，申请不同的学校。大大地减少了申请生的工作量。 对中国考生来讲最大的好处就是申请DIY更简单容易了。

　　大家一般知道的申请高中程序是到学校索取或网站上下载该校的申请表格，按要求填好寄出。由于各个学校的表格不同，老师推荐信的数量和表格也不一样，都要一个个去准备，如果申请几个学校，积累下来的工作量比较大也比较繁琐。

　　如果你注册了SSAT考试，那么用你收到确认信上的login ID 进入到SSAT网站里，就能找到标准申请的信息。

　　SSAT标准申请有以下五个部分：

　　The standard Admission Application includes:

　　·Student Information Form (学生信息表)

　　·Student Questionnaire(学生问答)

　　·Parent Statement(家长陈述)

　　·Teacher Recommendation Forms (English, Math, School Head/Counselor) (老师推荐信，数学，英文 和学校升学顾问各一封)

　　·Academic Record. (成绩单)

　　其中Student Questionnaire学生问答里有五个问题：

　　1. List and describe your level of interest and participation in school activities (school, volunteer groups, athletics, music, etc.)。 List any awards or honors you received in the past two years.In which activities do you plan to participate in the future­

　　列出和描述你对学校活动(上课，义工组，体育，音乐等)的兴趣和参与程度

　　2. List and describe your level of interest and participation in hobbies, activities, and groups not associated with school. List any awards or honors you received in the past two years.

　　列举你参加的校外活动(爱好，活动，组织)的兴趣和参与程度，列举你过去两年中的获奖和荣誉。

　　3. What reading have you enjoyed most in the past year and why­

　　你过去一年中你度过的书中你最喜喜欢的是什么，为什么­

　　4. Please note anything more you would like us to know about you.

　　请说出你想让我们知道的更多的关于你的情况。

　　5. Please choose one of these statements and then write a 250-500 word response to it.

　　在下面题目中选择一个，写一篇250-500字的回答。

　　5a. Describe a person you admire or who has influenced you a great deal.

　　形容一个你最敬仰的人或对你有很大影响的人。

　　5b. What makes you the interesting person that you are­(be sure to include the qualities you like best about yourself.)

　　5c. Explain the impact of an event or activity that has created a change in your life or your way of thinking.

　　请解释改变你的生活或你思考方法的一件事或活动。

　　Parent Statement家长陈述里有四个问题：

　　1.What qualities of character and mind in your daughter or son most delight you­

　　2.What do you believe your son or daughter will contribute the school community­ Have you any concerns about your child’s readiness for independent school­

　　3.What has posed the biggest academic and/or extracurricular challenge for your child­

　　4.Is there anything about the sequence of your child’s schooling that we should know­ Did your son or daughter ever skip or repeat a year­ Was your son or daughter ever asked to withdraw from a school, suspended or put on probation­ Please explain.

　　另外还会有一栏学校额外的要求，比如特殊的问题。

　　标准申请收费统一标准：美国学生$50,国际学生$100.
